Hey nice one that just about explains it all! Big up for that ..........At the moment it all just interests me so i Keep getting questions that inturn leads me to go and look for answers bit hectic sometimes but thats the way i am.......Not at the moment planning to start to make floats mind you one of the many questions is the start costs[i know]perhaps thats where the last barage of questions came from.Or maybe it boils down to a higher power lol guidance and all that.
I am not in anyway unhappy with the floats i use now TIMS,FAPS,RIVE,MAVER and to be quit honest i have some geers floats[nice] however i cannot seem to be able to justify the price quality difference between mas made and hand made..Hey said lightly and with respect!
Mind you i have just started fishing again[4years] after a 23 year break, in my youth i belonged to a fishing club or two that had the use of a wood work shop and i was able to make floats ,loaded wagglers, avons and sticks ,as you can see this was before the pole invassion of the uk.
Yes they have been there since before the middle ages but we used the match for everything.Ok maybe for another thread...............................
Hey again thank you for your time............
